With a rise in sales over March of last year of about 8,700 units, it would appear that the midsize SUV sales in America are still going strong.
The sales leader for the segment was the Jeep Grand Cherokee thanks to a sales percentage increase of nearly 26 percent. The next three models all saw sales decreases, allowing the Jeep to snag the first spot in terms of volume.
Despite some double-digit percentage sales drops from models like the Jeep Wrangler, Chevrolet Traverse, and Ford Edge, the segment still looks strong.
For the YTD numbers you can really tell how well this segment is thriving. The segment is up over 15,000 units. You can expect that trend to continue in future months.
