Canada – Large Luxury Car Sales Figures

The GCBC Analysis

The large luxury car segment saw pretty good sales in September. There was a slight uptick in sales. The segment as a whole has been down considerably YTD.

The segment saw an increase of about 30 units in the month of September. When you look YTD, though, the segment is down by about 1,700 units.

The segment leader in terms of sales volume was the Tesla Model S. It was up by about 10 percent for the month. However, when you look YTD, the segment is down by about 50 percent.

We expect the segment to not have quite as good sales in the coming months. It has not performed well this year.
